About Missouri City Garage Door Pros
Contacting Us
Call us at 1-281-623-4908 or come by the shop at 5320 Highway 6, Missouri City, TX 77459. That's the fastest way to get a repair on the schedule or ask a question about a door before you commit to a fix.
We don't run a call center. Whoever picks up the phone knows the difference between a broken torsion spring and a bad opener logic board, and can usually tell you over the phone which one you're dealing with based on what the door is doing. If it sounds like a job that needs eyes on it, we'll set a time to come look.
We work on garage doors, springs, openers, tracks, cables, rollers, and panels. We don't do general handyman work, and we don't install gates or fences, so if that's what you need, we're not the right call. Being upfront about that saves everyone a wasted trip.
Who You Are Dealing With
We work on doors built for houses that mostly went up between 1976 and 2014, with the bulk of the stock in this stretch of Fort Bend County dating to the 1980s and 90s. That matters because a door installed in 1988 doesn't use the same torsion hardware, same extension spring setup, or same opener mounting as something put in during the 2000s, and knowing which decade a house came from tells us what's probably inside the garage before we even open it.
Across the 21 named areas we cover, that stock is fairly consistent: single and double doors on torsion springs, steel panel construction, and openers that have usually been swapped out once or twice since the house was built. We see a lot of worn rollers and tired springs on doors that are otherwise sound, which means a repair instead of a full replacement more often than not.
We don't inflate a job. If a spring swap and a tune-up will get another several years out of a door, that's what we'll tell you, even if a new door would be the easier sale. The honest limitation here: if a door is badly out of square or the track has been bent and re-bent, sometimes replacement really is the better math, and we'll say so instead of patching it a third time.
Where We Work
Our shop sits at 5320 Highway 6, and we work out from there across the surrounding areas: Quail Valley a mile northwest, Sienna Village four miles south, Magnolia Place five miles east-southeast, Fondren Gardens five miles north-northeast, Fresno four miles out, Stafford five miles, Sienna and Arcola six miles each, Thompsons eight miles, and out to Four Corners, Bellaire, Iowa Colony, Manvel, Mission Bend, West University Place, and Pecan Grove in the ten-to-twelve mile range.
We also reach Brookside Village, the three Villages (Piney Point, Bunker Hill, Hunters Creek), Rosharon, Cumings, Spring Valley Village, Pleak, and Cinco Ranch out at eighteen miles. The climate here is mild with occasional freezes, so we don't see the frozen-track calls that colder regions get, but a cold snap will still crack an old nylon roller or stiffen up grease that should have been replaced a long time ago.
If you're outside this range, call anyway and ask. Distance isn't always a hard line, it depends on the day and what's already on the schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Do you install new garage doors or just repair them?
Both. A lot of our calls start as a repair question and end with us talking through whether a new door makes more sense, especially on a door that's been patched a few times already. We won't push a replacement if a repair will hold.
How far out from Missouri City do you go?
We regularly reach areas from Quail Valley a mile out to Cinco Ranch at about eighteen miles, including Fresno, Stafford, Sienna, Arcola, and the Villages near Bellaire. If you're near the edge of that range, call and ask rather than assume.
What kind of garage door problems do you see most in this area?
Given that most houses here were built between 1976 and 2014, with a lot from the 1980s and 90s, we see a lot of worn rollers, tired torsion springs, and openers that are on their second or third unit since the house was built.
Do you handle gates or fences too?
No. We stick to garage doors: springs, openers, tracks, cables, rollers, and panels. If you need gate or fence work, we're not the right call, and we'll tell you that upfront instead of taking the job.
